Well, I’ve been sewing lots of birds for these lately: Felt Bird Mobile by maorinette on Etsy rather than drawing subway patrons. So instead of drawing them, I’ve been sitting next to my subway subjects for the past month or two in order to get my bird count back up to where I need it for Etsy orders- and also for gifts for all the people around me who can not seem to stop procreating!
I’ve been scanning and fixing up the past year or two of sketchbooks in order to make prints of them. Like last year, I’ll be manning a table at this summer’s Animation Block Party at BAM. Long story short, here’s a few sketches from 2011. (Some of my watercolor colors may still be a bit off, due to my terrible scanner- color adjusting is a constant work in progress!)
